April 4, 2020: DEWINTERIZATION, SANITIZING, & PRE-SEASON INSPECTIONS - TIME: 9.30AM - 11.30AM
The upcoming camping season is right around the corner! Get a jump start on the camping season and learn how to reverse the winterizing process done last fall. We will show you how to properly remove and dispose of the anti-freeze in your water lines and how to sanitize your water system with products we sell in our store. We will discuss water filtration options you have for safe drinking water from your faucet. We will also discuss tips on things to check and do to make sure your RV is safe and ready for another season of use.
May 2, 2020: PROPER CARE & MAINTENANCE OF RV APPLIANCES - TIME: 9.30AM - 11.30AM
Spring is here and it's time to get out and camp! Your RV appliances are unique and require a different type of maintenance and attention than the ones in your home. Learn how to properly maintain and operate your appliances. We will cover common maintenance of refrigerators, furnaces, water heaters, air conditioners, awnings and even TV’s. We will also discuss proper and safe handling of Liquid Propane used in many of these appliances.
June 6, 2020: CAMPGROUND TIPS & PROPER USE & DUMPING PRACTICES OF YOUR WASTE SYSTEM, HOLDING TANKS & WASTE WATER - TIME: 9.30AM - 11.30AM
Have you seen the movie “RV” with Robin Williams? We will help you avoid any mishaps like that. In this seminar we will help you understand how your waste systems work and how to properly maintain them. Topics covered will include types of chemicals and what they do in your waste systems, how to properly dump and flush your holding tanks, odor control and how to keep your monitor panel reading correctly. As a bonus we will discuss set up and tear down tricks when staying in a campground. As a reminder, warranty does not cover tank dumping, so we want to make sure you know what you need to do prior to bringing your RV to us for plumbing services.
July 11, 2020: UNDERSTANDING DIFFERENT TYPES OF RV ELECTRICAL - TIME: 9.30AM - 11.30AM
Your RV’s power is designed to be mobile and sometimes this means having multiple sources of power to choose from. We will discuss the different types of electrical systems, maintenance of these systems to keep them operating properly, and the equipment our RV has that makes it work. We will also discuss your options for boondocking, such as adding solar or upgrading to Lithium batteries.
August 1, 2020: SATELLITES, Wi-Fi & MORE - TIME: 9.30AM - 11.30AM
We will be discussing different types of satellite systems and satellite providers for your RV. There are a lot of factors that go into selecting the right system to fit your needs both now and in the future. WIFI and 4G capable systems can be another option for providing entertainment through live streaming.
September 12, 2020: WINTERIZING YOUR RV - TIME: 9.30AM - 11.30AM
RV winterization is the most important maintenance you do to your RV to avoid a whole host of problems caused by below freezing temperatures. We will discuss all these potential problems and how to protect your RV against the harsh Midwest winters and avoid huge plumbing repair bills. We will go through the proper steps to get your RV winterized and when this all-important process should be done. You will learn what tools are needed and how much antifreeze should be used. As a bonus, we will discuss how to properly camper during the winter months after your RV has been winterized<.p>
October 3, 2020: POST SEASON INSPECTIONS & PROPER STORAGE - TIME: 9.30AM - 11.30AM
Storage of your camper can be just as, if not even more strenuous on our camper than daily use if not done properly. We will go over different storage options and what you should do in each situation to best care for both the interior and exterior of your RV. Topics will include rodent control, storage covers and battery care. There are also recommended inspections that should be done yearly before putting your unit away for the winter to ensure it will be ready to go for next season.
November 7, 2020: UNDERSTANDING DINGHY FLAT TOWING & TOW DOLLIES - TIME: 9.30AM - 11.30AM
This is one of the seminars in our “KNOWING TOWING” series. Learn how to safely tow your vehicle behind your gas or diesel motorhome. We will discuss flat towing vs. tow dollies vs. flatbed trailers to help determine the best fit for you. We will also discuss the different components that make up each system such as tow bars, baseplates, braking systems, lube pumps, driveshaft disconnects and auxiliary lighting. We will also offer general pricing guides for parts and installation but remember the do differ depending on vehicle types!

This is the newest addition to our lineup of free service seminars! We are going to discuss what you should expect from your service experience whether your RV needs standard maintenance or a more involved service repair. Typically, RV service centers are compared to those in the automotive industry, but we would like to give you a behind the scene look at what REALLY happens to your RV after you drop it off for service. We will go over how to be prepared for a drop off appointment and the purpose of a drop off appointment, issues that we face that can extend your RV’s repair time, and the training behind the employees in the Service department.
