Have you seen the movie “RV” with Robin Williams? Well, it’s not really like that. We will show you a portable mock-up of your RV water and waste system so you can see where the water and waste go as you use your RV. We will help you understand how your waste water systems work and how to properly maintain them. Included will be a discussion about odor control, use of chemicals, and how to use and keep your monitor panel reading correctly. Warranty does not cover tank dumping, so make sure you know what you need to do prior to bringing your RV to us for plumbing services.

This is our most popular annual seminar. RV winterization is the most important maintenance you do to your RV to avoid a whole host of problems caused by below freezing temperatures. We will discuss all these potential problems and how to protect your RV against the harsh Midwest winters and avoid huge plumbing repair bills. We will go through the proper steps to get your RV winterized and when this all- important process should be done. You will learn what tools you need to do a proper winterization and how much antifreeze to use. We will discuss important tips on storing your RV including battery care, rodent control, and RV covers for the RV, AC, and tires. If you aren’t ready to give up camping for the winter, we’ll tell you how to camp in cold temps without using your water systems (dry camping).

We will discuss flat towing vs tow dollies vs flat-bed trailers. We will discuss all the products needed for towing such as tow bars, base plates, braking systems, lube pumps, driveshaft disconnects, and auxiliary lighting. We can give you a general price guide for costs. They do differ depending on vehicle types!

While your RV is tucked away in storage for the winter there are things that need to be tended to for the protection of this major investment. We will talk about what you need to be doing periodically over the winter months to protect your RV to keep from experiencing expensive repairs and maintenance once you are ready to prepare it for use again. We will cover items like snow removal from the roof, battery tending, exercising the engine and generator, mouse and rodent control, moisture control from freeze and thaw cycles, wind and roof vent issues, and using an RV cover to avoid wind damage.
