History of Burlington RV Superstore
In 1963, Russ and Pat Wegge decided to take their five children on a camping vacation
to the Wisconsin Dells, so Russ rented a fold-down camper for his family of seven. In
those days, RVs were much less sophisticated than they are today, but the Wegges
enjoyed their best vacation ever.
Driving home, Russ had an idea. His family had just experienced the vacation of their lives and he wanted other Wisconsin families to have the same enjoyment. When they returned home, Russ and Pat began renting out fold-down campers in the front yard of their home. One by one, customers stopped by and rented campers until the business grew into a full sales and service dealership.
The business expanded so successfully that the Wegges tore down their house to make room for more RVs. Today, Burlington RV Superstore offers only the highest quality RVs sold in America, as well as top-quality service, sales, parts and accessories. It offers LP gas and dump station.
Russ and Pat's son, Tim Wegge is the President and General Manager of Burlington RV
Superstore. Burlington RV Superstore, opened in 2006, is 60,000 square feet with all
the latest amenities.
In 1999, Tim and his employees had the honor of accepting the Top Quality Dealer of
the Year Award from the Recreation Vehicle Dealer Association. The award was based
on Burlington's commitment to customer satisfaction, sales and community service. In
addition, the award focused on Burlington's top-notch facilities, financial stability
and innovative response to adversity.
